Sudden spike in Oklahoma's literacy rate offends adherents of religion of luuuuuuuuuv

reminds me of an old civil rights story. the deal is that all would-be voters had to prove they could read a newspaper before they'd be allowed to vote.

so this old black guy comes to the voting booth, and sure enough, he's given a newspaper to read. IN HEBREW.

so the old man says, "ah sho' knows what's in the paper: 'no nigger ain't gonna vote here today'"

maybe in the future of oklahoma unless you can read the koran in arabic you don't get to vote.
