please donate generously to IDRF, which does signal work for the poor. their overheads are in the 2% range, as compared to ASHA and AID which use up a lavish 40% of their revenue in supporting sandeep pandey's excursions to pakistan and such other political bullshit.

Namaste,

On behalf of IDRF, it is my distinct privilege to thank you for your sustained cooperation and willingness to extend a helping hand towards the fulfillment of IDRF's mission to serve the needy/poor in India.  All of you are in touch with the developments in our Motherland.  We have good reason to rejoice the phenomenal economic growth of India in recent years, leading to India's recognition as an economic powerhouse.

While we may all be proud of Indian economy shining, the ground realities are heartbreaking as the abject poverty is still pervasive.  Thus, IDRF's sustained growth, leading to the self-empowerment and self-reliance among the ultimate beneficiaries is still of paramount importance.  I hope due to unprecedented challenges confronting IDRF, you would also kindly be more considerate/generous than before to show your support for the sustenance (continued operations) of IDRF.

By the way, as perhaps known to some of you, both my wife Sarlaji and I will be away for India Nov 12 - Dec 20.  Hence, the early issuance of the Campaign Appeal (attached).  I am indeed grateful to Sarika, who will be taking care of IDRF matters to the best of her abilities, during my absence.  Her email address is: idrfmd@hotmail.com and she can also be accessed through my cell number: (301) 704-0032.

With utmost sincerity, I convey our family's very best wishes for the Holiday Season and coming New Year!

Vinod
