ASI & historicity

http://www.organiser.org/dynamic/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=209&page=13

An instructive piece on how institutions in India respect history as the search for 'truth'.

I am not sure why Goradia has chosen the 'faith cannot be questioned' sermon to start the article - for anyone who cares to look things are pretty obvious - Shri Ram & Shri Krishna were real persons, albeit with many embellishments to their life story. This is as opposed to the 'historical' Jesus who is a fabrication - or the 'real' Prophet (PBUH) - who was real all right - he was real violent and depraved.

The Organiser has a special on the Ram Setu. Most of this is sentimental fluff - but good material to rally Hindus around. Dr. Subramanian Swamy continues to surprise with a nice piece that shows the 'ideological' politics behind the destruction
