Fundamentalists have honed their skills in pre-partition India, then in Bangla Desh, Kashmir, and now, bigger parts of India. Didn't the 'secular' journalists and commentators talk about 'neglected Kashmir' and problems of unemployed youth there?
I have a feeling Brits will eventually find an anwer to this problem although the democracy will impede the progress towards it... Much depends on ordinary peace-loving muslims (if there really are good number of them).
