ISIS Spreading in Afghanistan

ISIS is spreading in Afghanistan, becoming a rival to Taliban in certain areas. While the Pakistan-sponsored Taliban are supposed to advance Pakistan's interests inside Afghan territory, ISIS are trying to establish their foothold in Afghanistan both as a way to gain more fighters for their war on the territory of Syria and Iraq, as well as to open a new front against their enemy Iran. Given that ISIS has control over some rich oil fields, they may be in a position to outspend Pakistan.

If their spread continues successfully, they'll eventually start making inroads into NWFP, Baluchistan and other parts of Pakistan.
