usually worth going to. they have boatloads of films, some good, some bad, but you can go to all of them (some 60 or so) on a delegate's pass of rs. 300. what a deal! this is probably the best intl film festival in india, usually much better than the iffi in goa. worth heading out to trivandrum for a week.
i went to this last year, and thought it was great stuff. i saw at least one outstanding film (the old "memories of underdevelopment", cuba, 1969) and several others which were quite good. i also saw one or two that were awful.
