Students Ask Obama Tough Questions

President Obama faced tough questions posed to him by Indian students during his visit.

"Mumble..mumble...the phrase Jehad has a lot of meanings within Islam."

What's the use of a word with so many meanings? Jehadis are getting confused and depending upon the context they take it to mean anything from "deliver flowers at doorstep" to "press button and turn into pink mist".

It's obvious that Obama is lying when he was answering the young lady's questions regarding pak and terror. It was just as obvious when he was talking about Martin Luther King that he was incredibly sincere and his words were heartfelt. Obama is not a very good liar. I guess that's a good thing, but bottom line is that he came to India for a political bailout. He has to please white people to get reelected but he doesn't realize that they really don't give a crap anymore. It was a brief "jungle fever" thingy that got him elected. Now it's the morning after and the affair is over. For these reasons, Indians should not bend over backwards to please a highly unpopular President with tremendous momentum against him. John McCain recently made some very intriguing statements regarding his support for outsourcing and the need to contain China. I'm beginning to like the GOP.

Obama's immediate response (as reported in a newspaper) was, "Good question". This is the standard method of evasion used by academics in lectures and in seminar presentations. The person asking the question is usually pleased and diverted.
Anyhow, another "good" question would have been, "Why did the US not probe Pak's possible role in 9/11?"

@ Non-carborundum:
"When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean -- neither more nor less."

Humpty Dumpty Obama has just had a "fall" in the Elections.
