Bio-Sandstone Method for Cheap Road Construction

Researchers have developed a method of mixing a bacterial solution with sand to make hardened sandstone suitable for building roads much more cheaply than current methods using asphalt. Given India's huge shortfall of roads and other vital fixed infrastructure, and the daunting costs to build it, perhaps Indians should put in more research of their own in this direction. Indians could then tout this as a more ecologically friendly approach, with a lower environmental footprint. If we're going to get around on Nano's, then we need more roads to drive them on.
