Shangai Stock Index Versus Bombay Sensex
Wow!
Well stock indices are not what 'economists' (read morons) claim them to be. They represent true state of economy only when individuals with money invest directly in companies.
In an era when algorithsm trade utilising microseconds of difference and volume trading is the key, individual investors are there only to hold the bag when things blow up in the face of casino operators.
Disclaimer : I do invest in indian market.
