you have been hearing it on this blog for some time about tamil imperialism, which is about the same as mohammedan victim-syndrome in india: grabbing more than their fair share through intimidation and blackmail. examples in the recent past:
kaveri water
mullaperiyar water
vizhinjam port
palakkad railway division
various car projects, nokia, flextronics etc.
to be fair, chennai (although it has beastly weather) is a good place to set up industries as it has large amounts of marginal land and access to two ports.
