Musharraf at the Exit

Washington Post has a piece up called Musharraf at the Exit. This is in contrast to Mushy's survivalist marketing strategy, which can be summed up as Barbarians at the Gates. The thing is that Mushy knows too much, so the Americans will either have to give him a cushy retirement home like the Shah got, or else ensure a quick hanging like Saddam. I don't think they'll really want him to be writing more memoirs, lest these result in regime change on the Potomac. Still, Gwadar will be a strong legacy for him -- provided it doesn't result in an independent Baluchistan.
