KPS Gill on Pakistan

One of the most clear-headed analysis you are likely to find in the printed English language in India. Some of these Wagah candle-lighters and Lahore nostalagists should take note.

The link may not work (Pioneer is a great paper with a bad web delivery software). You can go to the the pioneer home page --> Columnists where you will find other articles by KPS Gill

Excellent piece, very well written, more so because it comes from a law enforcement officer. India really is story of few good men among the corrupt/whores that run our country currently. India must first accept that Pakistan is a serious problem and then think of ways to take care of it - a permanent solution. This is article is a step in that direction. USA, Saudi Arabia and China, all world powers, all have vested interest in keeping Pakistan in existence. SA get unlimited foot soldiers for spreading wahabism, China get access to Arabian Sea and USA gets to keep a check on Russia, China and India from there. But that shouldn't stop India from weakening Pakistan.
