more on EVMs

EC silent on EVM tampering, lies about inviting him to demo how easy tampering is: expert
http://bit.ly/pddNb

legitimate demands for transparency are met with stonewalling and repetition of mantra "EVMs are infallible". what then?

EC has to be transparent about a) source code of what is embedded, b) process, and offer paper audit trails. else they are hiding something

I am sure lack of audit trail must be violative of some Constitutional provision, that must be the basis for PIL in SC

previous SC PILs resulted in "go talk to EC". EC then says "go away" and "EVMs are infallible". stonewalling is a winning tactic

#EVM: kalyanaraman's site has a wealth of information on problems. also nalapat/saraph question flawed process

The opposition parties can team up against the EVMs without paper trail. AIADMK, Shiv Sena, TDP and even Communist parties are making noises against EVMs.

They should boycott polls and deny any legitimacy to the Congress and its cronies. Then the establishment loses its fig leaf.

The fact that EVMs are not centre of discussion at Nehru Dynasty TV and Congress News Network ahow how compromised they are.
