Please find attached the invitation to the launch of 'Prarthana' - a new community prayer service that aims to provide spiritual and emotional support to all our coreligionists.

The trigger for launching this forum is the feedback received from many people who felt the need for such a community support in times of distress or crisis and the experiences of those who were exploited by evangelists who literally fish in troubled waters.

This is how Prarthana works: You can email your problem and request a prayer to be done in your name, completely free of charge. The prayers will be done at the fortnightly prayer congregations of Prarthana and the prasadam will be shipped to the person who has requested the prayer. People may choose to keep their identity confidential, in which case only the request will be read out during the meetings. 

The fortnightly prayer meetings will include a satsang by renowned spiritual teachers, traditional chants in Sanskrit and Tamil known for their remedial effect for common issues such as health, prosperity, career, interpersonal conflicts etc. Samoohika Vilakku puja and Homams will also be performed every month.

Please do join us for the launch this Sunday if you are in Coimbatore. And inform your friends and family about this forum so they can count on Prarthana when they are in need.
