B.Raman on Obama

This blog has articulated several times that it doesn't make a difference to India whether the Dems or the GOP win. They are 2 sides of the same coin. But Obama having Zbig as foreign policy advisor is particularly dangerous for India militarily and otherwise. And not just India, Zbig would most certainly want to provoke the Russian bear too.

Raman is a decent spy who has rendered great service during his years at RAW. But he is a spy nothing else, and is given to covering up for RAW's mistakes, for instance Kargil. It is not my case that RAW is incompetent and which is why it missed out on the Kargil intrusions. RAW and hence B.Raman (who was still around at that time) commandered the surveillance resources available then blurring the line between military intelligence, covert ops, and counter-intelligence, leaving the military with little or no resources to kep the Kargil area under observations. And again for an Indian spy, Raman exhibits little or no knowledge of the role of the military and how it trains and fights. He made an ass of himself when he wrote a v.poor article criticising India's launching the Malabar exercises, following with the joint India-Aus-Jap-US naval exercises. All because he feared India would antagonise China!! Adm.Arun Prakash correctly explained what is the need for military exercises and how they help train and fine tune our forces, while also making our capabilities well known. As Air Chief Marshal SP Tyagi correctly put it, when asked if China intends to attack India - intentions are momentary and can change at any time, capabilities take time to build up and disadvantages in them don't go away, the Indian military must have a plan to deal China's capabilities, only then can we respond to any change in intentions.

Does Obama have a Pakistani connection? Who knows? McSame calls Pakistan a strategic ally, while Obama wants to attack Pakistan if it gets too active in Afghanistan. Raman doesn't read the papers it seems.

Truti, you seem to be in Obama's hip pocket. Why won't you comment on Obama's knee-jerk protectionism, or his links to Zbigniew Brzezinski, who is an obvious enemy of India? What about Obama's leading role in pushing for the Hyde Act against India? I feel like your comments reflect more love for the African American community than the Indian community. Recognize that there are places where our interests will diverge.

Here is that same article from B Raman on his own blog, including my response to it some days back:

Here is B Raman's latest follow-up article.

Tell me, will you be willing to criticize precious Obama if he turns out to be inimical to India? I hope so. His protectionism and his ties to Euro-centrists like Brzezinski seem destined to make him go after India.

Read this if you want to know the details about Obama's pakistan connections. Better still, read his book Dreams From My Father.

Raman has connected a dot here. Cat stevens is black. He visited Pakistan and eventually converted to Islam. Obama is black and has visited Pakistan. So he must a closeted muslim jihadist. Wow! Brilliant.

I could only sense, not very well hidden, bigotry in this "paper".

I don't care how high Obama's midi-chlorian count is. The fact that Palpatine has suddenly started befriending him, means he's going to be turned to the Dark Side. I see no pro-Indian advisors around Obama to offset the growing influence of Brzezinski & Co. That means he has the potential to become the next Vader for us. The Jews already realize this, and we'd better too.

i share rajeev's misgivings regarding obama. he is too much of a manchurian candidate with "too much" (sorry for the repetition) of a muslim background. He really hasn't come out clean about this aspect.

If anyone wants to know about braman and his old age insanity then google `b raman rediff "we are all chinese today" and read the last statement a....n.....d.....the comments. One will understand what he is worth it. His comments are no more than a street side local illiterate's comments. It is best to ignore such people. After all isn't he those one of the babus who idiotically is part of the generation who screwed up the whole nation beyond repair.
