Hemant Kurkure is a brave officer who fight for his country (infact humanity). I read some of his profile today and then realize why secularism in India spread to deep root level. ◘ Why did the three top police officers go in the same vehicle? Is there not a rule against it?
◘ Why was one of the Officers (Salaskar) driving the vehicle? Doesn't the police have designated drivers?
◘ Reports say that the three Officers were on their way to visit one of their colleagues who was badly injured and was in hosptal. Was that a more urgent task than directing the fight against terrorists?

One good thing seems to have come about because of this terror attack. Earlier I had seen many photos in the Times of India and other major English dailies of terrorists' mothers, fathers and families weeping for their lost child. And not a single photo of the people who fought them.
It was in a way very sad, but at the same time also satisfying to see the photos of the soldier's and policemen's families.
Also, it was satisfying to see the media showing photos of the small baby Mosche whose Jewish parents were killed by the terrorists instead of routinely creating hype with the photos of Pakistani babies who come to have surgery in India.
Its quite possible all this could be because this time page 3 people got affected. Even one of the Times of India page 3 type journalist named Sabina got killed.
