Pakistani Mistrust of US

In their latest article, the Atlanticists at NYT seem to be playing to Pakistan's fears about being dismembered by the US. Reference is made to Ralph Peters' article Blood Borders in the US Armed Forces Journal. It's the one I like, with the redrawn map of Pakistan.

Ralph Peters isn't bad. He's been an area officer in the US Army so has read up some geography although not much history. So he wants to break up Turkey? A member of NATO? I though we wanted less trouble in that neighbourhood. Not more! Of course Ralph is clueless about how one country maintains excellent relations with every one of these states with not much money to spare.

Yeah but that map still shows PoK as part of Pakistan. So they have taken it for given that it is gone. Well, I don't blame them either, if this Anti-Hindu alliance continues at center for long and God forbids comes back to power with the help of seriously polarized Muslim/Christian vote bank, soon more parts of Bharat will be shown as parts of other countries.

Interesting quote from the latter article:

"Oh, and one other dirty little secret from 5,000 years of history: Ethnic cleansing works. "

A secret all too well known to India's neighbours.

A much clearer "before and after" map is available in Livemint:

Please note they have taken away PoK and given it to AFGHANISTAN. Was that meant to create a rift between India and Afghanistan?
