Vatican sends Diwali greetings

The head of the Vatican's office for inter-religious dialogue, Cardinal Jean-Louis Tauran, urged Hindus to pay urgent attention to the education of believers, in order to avoid being mislead by what he called 'deceitful and false propaganda.'

'Belief and freedom always go together. There can be no coercion in religion: no one can be forced to believe, neither can anyone who wishes to believe be prevented from doing so,' he said...... Only through dialogue, avoiding all forms of prejudice and stereotyped ideas about others and by faithful witness to our religious precepts and teaching, can we truly overcome conflicts,' Tauran wrote.

The Catholic Church in conjunction with the World Council of Churches has been seeking to draw up a common code of conduct for religious conversions that would preserve the right of Christians to spread their religion while avoiding conflict among different faiths

Yawn, the christists never lose any opportunity to preach their sanctimonious B.S and proffer gratuitous advice to others in the name of "inter-faith dialogue", even when conveying what is ostensibly a greeting for Diwali. So, this padre wants to "educate" us ignorant heathens about his hateful doctrine!!! And will indulge in christist "education, love, dialogue" until we submit to his dogma!!! Thanks dear "father", but NO thanks to your false education, love and dialogue. The Pink Floyd song is particularly relevant in the context of christist missionary "education"

We don't need no education.
We don't need no thought control.
No dark sarcasm in the classroom.
Teacher, leave those kids alone.
Hey, teacher, leave those kids alone!
All in all its just another brick in the wall.
All in all you're just another brick in the wall.

We don't need no education.
We don't need no thought control.
No dark sarcasm in the classroom.
Teachers, leave those kids alone.
Hey, teacher, leave those kids alone!
All in all you're just another brick in the wall.
All in all you're just another brick in the wall

Right of Christians to spread their religion? My ass. That will happen the day they allow non-Christians to build their place of worship at Vatican City. Until then shut the f*** up.
