Hi Rajeev,

There are several temples in India that are badly in
need of renovation.
I recently created a wiki at:
http://temple.wikispaces.com/ with a primary purpose
of collecting information about the temples in
dilapidated conditions (with volunteer information if
available), and a secondary purpose of maintaining an
open repository.

If you could help in publicising it or in any other
manner possible, it would be great.
