KJ Rao ensures the dead won't vote in Bengal

January 11, 2006 02:44 IST

A day after ordering deletion of names of bogus voters from the electoral rolls in Nadia district of West Bengal, Election Commission Observer to Bengal K J Rao on Tuesday detected and removed names of several dead people from the voters' lists in the same district.

Villagers of Shantipur and Phulia brought to Rao's notice the names of voters in the list who were no more.

A total of 19 EC observers are in West Bengal to supervise electoral rolls in various districts in view of the forthcoming assembly polls, Bengal Chief Electoral Officer Debashish Sen said in Kolkata.

One to many dreams, this.

Mulayam says the Left-front should lead a non-Congress government at the center (chuckle chukle..:-)))))))))))

And Left says - No, this is not the right time :-)))) (even more chuckle)

Ya right ! and the rest of the country will sit and watch.

One has 40 MPs and other as 61 MPs.

Ever heard of Shekchili

Get some comic relief here

Spin doctors at work- full time- at the HindustanTimes.

Check the way this news is presented. Hindustan Times seeks to win a march over its rivals/siblings TOI,NDTV etc by proving it is more secular than the gang.

Makes it Hidutva vs Secular fight

More and more shocking truths are emerging from the EC officials' visits to West Bengal. All votes to CPM in some booths.. How come Praanv Roy, our top psephologist didn't notice this during his analysis? He must either be a very bad analyst, or he must be followoing some political masters..

Thanks DarkStorm.

Also i feel this is what BJP should do in West Bengal Elections. It should simply withdraw

Now i know this would sound very stupid, but here's the deal.

Today,a handful of commies are holding the entire nation to ransom. Their main strength comes from West Bengal.

Apart from the fact that CPM is Hindus enemy # 1, it also is nation's # 1 enemy today. BJP is any way inconsequential in elections out there. With BJP withdrawing from elections Mamta's Mahajyoth will get a shot in the arm. Not that she's good or something. But first things first. Someone needs to take the wind out of the commies and BJP has a chance to do that. Someone needs to plug the tap from West Bengal and things will fall in place at the center.

Sometimes to win larger battles, one has to let go smaller battles.

BJP should simply outsource project-OUST CPM- to Mamta and Co.

what say bengaliPatriot ?
