he, and somini sengupta, can be sued under the criminal code in india regarding violating the religious sentiments of a section of the public.

The feminine version of Uncle Tom is Beulah or Aunt Jemimah, but I like Somini Sepoy used by someone else on this blog. Somini Sepoy-Gupta sounds fitting.
Reading Somini's article, I failed to spot the rigours of MF Hussain's exile in Dubai, which the ELM never tires of reminding us of. That old fart zips about in a chauffeured Ferrari, Bentley, whatever. Has lots of apartments, can't decide where to stay the night. And has a real nice Brasso-polished halo of a martyr to boot. That sod would have stayed in Dubai anyway, Bajrang Dal or no. His earnings and Ferraris would have made the taxman in India real interested. His offensive paintings may be a trick to permanently stay in (ha!) exile.
