C Raja Mohan writes in Forbes about Obama and India. After spouting the obligatory invective of India as a society of horrific caste-oppression, blahblahblah, he manages to caution the US on blundering into the Kashmir dispute.

Meanwhile, there are reports that Obama's camp may be quietly pulling back from any campaign rhetoric on Kashmir. That's an encouraging sign. If he can do the same on the outsourcing issue, then we can focus on the common ground.
