Mamdani Doubles Down on Racial Communal Politics

He's justifying race-based policies, fully embracing this. How unsurprising.

His efforts at Spanish outreach are impressive in intent. I don't remember seeing Vivek Ramaswamy doing that. However, despite outward appearances, Mamdani can't really speak Spanish beyond rehearsed scripted phrases. It's like listening to Narendra Modi speak Tamil or Malayalam.

Japan Stepping Back from NATO, Not Indo-Pacific Ties, China Watching Cracks Closely

India should do more than just watch cracks. India needs to step forward and present itself as a credible alternative destination for Japan's capital, which is heavily invested into a United States that now openly intends to erode the value of their investment. Given that Japan is America's largest creditor with the highest exposure, this will be like Hiroshima/Nagasaki 2.0 for them.

The best way for India to become a credible destination for such capital is to address its own fundamentals and actually make itself worthy of investment, rather than merely waiting expectantly for good things to fall into its mouth, or else relying on hype.

Japan's history as Asia's first Great Power, which was the earliest to emerge onto global stage through techno-industrial-military might, can make it a powerful catalyst in India's rise, especially through partnership in defense development, (Hint: their fighter engine technology program is certainly worth a closer look, among so many other things. If anyone understands ceramic blade coatings, it's them)

Japan's post-war constitution, written by conquering General Douglas MacArthur, forbids it from engaging in massive defense spending, and creating large production houses for this purpose. But there's no prohibition on getting that production done through India, by investing over there.

NYC Mayor Candidate Mamdani Wants to 'Globalize Intifada'

I see it as WBengal-ification, or Keralaization of USA. This will teach Tony Blinken & Victoria Nuland a bitter lesson for their arrogant games against India. Now they'll suffer their own Dhaka coup in their midst.

NYC Mayoral Candidate Zohran Mamdani, the son of filmmaker Mira Nair & Muslim college professor, is an Islamo-Marxist who wants 'Global Intifada' and rampant taxation of New York's wealthy, while promising all kinds of freebies for the poor.

So the Kejriwal strategy is finally boomeranging on America, as the Islamists take their turn playing this game. Instead of crashing airliners into New York's skyline as before, they can now crash its economy thru predatory taxation while luring the poor with freebies. Anyone who's been to NYC knows they already have free Wi-Fi, so he can't promise that at least.

So really, Mamdani & Co are aiming at the heart of Zionism -- NYC

Anyway, this 'champion of the poor' is really quite a pampered rich kid himself

Which wealthy American bastion can they target next? Chicago? Beverly Hills? Hollywood perhaps?

Seems Hollywood were off by 30 years:

US War on Iran Means It Won't Be Able to Pivot to Asia Against China, Which Puts India At Risk for Some US Stunt/Scheme

Trump's sudden new pivot into war on Iran means that it won't be able to carry out its much-vaunted 'Pivot to Asia' to confront the rising power of China. This will suit China just fine, of course, and it will seek to prolong the Iran-US war for as long as possible, in order to reap the benefit of derailing a US pivot to Asia for as long as possible. This will put the US in a worsening predicament in regards to protecting its geopolitical interests in Asia, which always get last priority as it is. The more serious this predicament becomes, the more the US will become desperate to pull some kind of stunt to bail itself out of a painful reckoning.

That's where India will increasingly look like a tempting and juicy target for some kind of clandestine scheme or stunt by them to hijack us as some convenient stooge to help them deal with their China problem, which will continue to grow to ever more epic proportions. Indians will have to remain vigilant and observant, to see what that inevitable stunt/scheme will be.

Trump's rise as a maverick politician leaves him blind to the geopolitical dynamics that more seasoned leaders would be open to seeing and recognizing. His retreat from his trade confrontation with China has forced him to seek a new fallback agenda, which seems to have now focused on Iran, as catalyzed by the Israel lobby.

Trump's retreat from Asia leaves the US with worsening options and fewer cards to play there. North Korea can now cozily send strategic weaponry to Iran, while sitting in a comfortable position. Trump's policy blunder now ensures that the US will face a rough path, no matter what.

How The Iran War Could Become China’s Proxy War Against USA

Hypothetically, India could collude with both China and Iran by working to split Afghanistan into North Afghanistan and South Afghanistan. Iran and China could then run an oil pipeline thru the non-Pashtun North Afghanistan to connect with each other for energy trade. India would gain a benefit from the Pashtun-dominated South Afghanistan then naturally pulling on Pashtun portion of Pakistan to achieve mutual reunification. Balochistan could also naturally break free, leaving Pakjabis with a tenuous hold over Sindh.

Trump: US Attack on Iran's Fordow Site Successfully Completed

Article 1, Section 8 of the United States Constitution vests the power to make war with the US Congress, not the President. This was done because the Congress is a deliberative body, and it was felt that such deliberation was necessary before going to war. Having fought to liberate themselves from the clutches of an empire, the founding fathers of the American revolution did not wish to see themselves trapped under another one - even one of their own making. However, over the ages, that provision has been increasingly marginalized, so that there is effectively no longer any check or balance against the unconstrained use of military power by the President.

Quick notes: Ivy league | Recruiting scientists..

  • Can India create its own Ivy League? The country is home to around a fifth of the world’s university-age population. Why are they going abroad? India has been losing academic talent to America for decades.

  • China and Europe luring American scientists: Dr. Patapoutian’s federal grant to develop new approaches to treating pain has been frozen. Within hours, he had an email from China, offering to move his lab to “any city, any university I want,” he said, with a guarantee of funding for the next 20 years.

  • Saver of Pakistan: Trump to be nominated for Nobel Peace Prize by Pakistan. . . . Trump is in awe of strongmen, alpha leaders, who stand up to him. Recall how Kim Jong-un of North Korea tamed him, and Putin has him on a leash.

  • Expanding in India: The Trump Organization has expanded globally since the 2024 election. And India leads, sigh.

  • Securing its world-domination: China-backed militia secures control of new rare earth mines in Myanmar. China has a near-monopoly over the processing of heavy rare earths into magnets that power critical goods like wind turbines, medical devices and electric vehicles. But Beijing is heavily reliant on Myanmar for the rare earth metals and oxides needed to produce them.

Morgan Stanley: China Is Maneuvering US “Into Weakness” When It Comes To Making Advanced Robots.

Rare earth inventories may run dry by mid-July: China is the source of nearly 85 per cent of India’s rare earth magnet imports.

  • Urban Highways Suck: "Cars and highways are great. But neither of them belong in cities". . . From Atanu Dey's blog.

Car economy leaves India's middle class fuming: India has more than twice as many kilometers of roads per square kilometer of land as the US. China, which has built a lot of highways but chosen highspeed trains as the focal point of transport, has a much lower density. For intercity travel, India’s template ought to have been 21st-century China, not 20th-century America.

The fastest train journey between Chennai and Bengaluru takes over four hours. In that time, one could go from Beijing to Shanghai, a distance nearly four times greater. Within cities, subways are coming up even in places where they aren’t a practical option.

A death every three minutes: Why India's roads are among the world's deadliest

  • The I Am: Nisagardatta Maharaj.

  • Bicycling tied to reduced dementia risk and greater hippocampal volume retention: Of all the transportation modes older people can use to get from one place to another, bicycling appears to offer the most benefit in potentially reducing the chances of developing dementia.

  • ‘Even a freeway is redeemable’: World’s largest wildlife crossing takes shape in Los Angeles

  • Blazing India: Extreme heat forces India’s farmers to pick between low pay and heatstroke

Can Iran's Fordo Nuclear Complex Be Destroyed? Does Trump Really Want To?

Fordo looks like a tough nut to crack, and meanwhile Trump has now called for another 2 weeks on whether to decide to attack Iran or not. He may be trying to replay the same game he's played with tariffs, where he's also delayed. It's just going to give Iran more time to shift its vital equipment elsewhere.

Trump's game may partly be aimed at scaring Iran into making concessions it otherwise might not be willing to make. Trump's game may even be partly aimed at the US Federal Reserve, which he badly needs to lower interest rates, even though it's not cooperating so far. A war might force Fed to do this, since it's always been forced to lower rates in times of war.

If Israelis don't get relief from US entering the war, then they may resort to a nuclear strike:

Will America Go to War With Iran?

Unless Trump is engaged in a very elaborate ruse/bluff to scare the Iranians into making major concessions which they wouldn't otherwise make at the negotiating table, then it looks like the US is headed to make war on Iran. If they do collapse the Iranian regime, they might succeed in installing a pro-Western replacement. This would then give them a new access route into Central Asia, thus removing Pakistan's strategic monopoly in this regard. And if a new regime isn't installed, so that Iran is left to prolonged chaos, then this may give space and impetus for Baloch independence. Either way, Pak's situation will be adversely affected, which is to our advantage.

Trump Becoming Bush 2.0?

Remember how Bush had a totally different set of political objectives and agenda out of the starting gate as his presidency began. However, the 9-11 attacks quickly saw Bush diverting into the new 'War on Terror' with all its expanding cascade of military interventions abroad.

Likewise some time back, Trump was warning that Obama would get the US into a new war with Iran:

Things have come a long way since then, as Trump himself is now readying US forces for a massive military attack on Iran. Trump himself may be hungrily eyeing Iran's oil wealth, just as he's eyed the natural resource wealth of other countries, whether Greenland, Canada, Ukraine, etc, as a means of offsetting America's unsustainable debt. As Mao did with Tibet, so too may Trump be capable of doing towards others, if he sees enough reward in it.

As Israel does not have the stamina for a long military conflict with Iran, and Iran is quite capable of waging such a protracted war under its current mullah regime, then the only way for Israel to avoid this is if the US can be brought into the war to smash Iran's military capability. For longer term stability, a regime change would need to be carried out to oust the mullahs. Ayatollah Khamenei doesn't seem to have groomed any obvious successors, which is an exploitable vulnerability. But no matter how powerful an aerial bombing campaign the US can carry out, even one which successfully decapitates the current Iranian leadership, US victory would not be possible without a ground invasion. We Indians should be wary of the US trying to press us into service for that (they might even dangle the IMEC carrot to seduce Modi), because such a quagmire war would extract a huge death toll. Even if there are plenty of Iranians who are weary of the mullah regime in Tehran, the same could have been said of Iraqis under Saddam, Libyans under Qadafi, Syrians under Assad, etc. As those examples show, regime removal may simply result in prolonged chaos and instability.

Anyway, as long as Indian troop commitments can be avoided, regime change in Iran could actually benefit India by removing Pakistan's monopoly on offering the West access to Central Asia. If the West can get a reliable route through Iran, then Pakistan loses a huge portion of its strategic worth. Furthermore, an Iran in chaos means an Iranian Balochistan which can be converted into a springboard for the liberation of Pakistani-controlled Balochistan. For that reason alone, we should remain open-minded.

Anyway, it's not like we're being consulted by the Americans who are now taking their decisions to make war on Iran.

If US is Drawn Into Iran War, Will It Eventually Pressure India to Supply Troops?

When the US invaded Iraq in 2003 on the pretext that it was building "WMD", a delegatoin of NeoCons led by Bill Krystol had shown up in New Delhi, urging India to provide troops in support of the Iraq invasion and occupation. Their intellectual elites had read the history books about Her Majesty's Indian Army in Iraq, pacifying the natives there (at great cost to their own lives). They even dangled juicy carrots on Kashmir and arms deals, etc, but after a patient hearing from our babus, they ultimately left empty-handed.

The US is now moving forces into position to launch a massive bombing campaign against Iran on Israel's behalf, perhaps in the hopes that this can trigger regime change. The risk is that an aerial bombing campaign won't be enough, and with the die already cast, the US will then be forced to go for ground invasion, which is a much riskier prospect than Iraq, since Iran has twice the population and 3X the land area, much of it being difficult mountainous terrain.

As the US faces the prospect of again getting in over its head, will it once again reflexively turn to India to push it to provide troops for such an endeavour? Such proposals always seem easier to make when putting at risk the lives of others rather than one's own.

Trump Speaks Bluntly at G7

It's rather fun to watch King Trump do some blunt talking in front of others like Canadian PM Carney, who are meekly absorbing it.

China Flying Arms Over to Iran

China seems to be quietly transporting more ammunition to Iran via cargo flights. They want to reinforce Iran in this fight. However, there are reports that communist groups in Iran have also suddenly become active, which implies that China/Russia are now activating these groups in case Israel/US are successful in ousting the current Mullah regime in Tehran, so that Iran doesn't just fall into laps of Israel/US unchallenged.

The Chinese and Russians are also reportedly interested in getting radar signature data on the F-35, which Israel is using in its aerial operations against Iran.

NKorea to Give Military Support to Iran; Israel/US Face Long Attrition War; Russia Will Benefit As Oil Prices Surge

Oil prices are surging due to Israel-Iran conflict, which will benefit Russia.

Indo-Pak conflict from Sindoor ended relatively quickly, but Israel-Iran conflict may not end so quickly, even though Israel has a need for it to. Israelis have always preferred short sharp wars, because they're at a serious disadvantage of running out of stamina for a long drawn-out conflict or attrition war.

North Korea has now announced it will provide military support to Iran in the current conflict.

I read that as meaning Iran won't necessarily run out of missiles anytime soon. I also more deeply read that Nuland & Co who started Russia-Ukraine war to keep Russia preoccupied and unable to poke its nose into Middle East, have once again neglected all potential possibilities, as Russia has simply pressed into service its additional proxy North Korea to do the job (ie. Horizontal Escalation instead of Vertical Escalation)

Iran and North Korea represent a dual problem. The US collusion in surprise attack on Iran can only tip off North Korea that a similar fate awaits it, just as Libya's Qadafi rudely discovered in the past. Hence, North Korea's motivation to intervene while the odds are better.

This North Korean support does not appear to have been in the contingency planning of Israel or USA. Which means that Israel/USA will now have to lurch into some ad-hoc stunt to deal with this new development. Could that mean a new military coup in S.Korea, like they did against Imran Khan in Pakistan? (As we know, the most recent right-wing coup there failed, when the entire citizenry revolted against it.) But leave it to American Cold Warriors to act like a Bull-in-a-China-Shop and trample on yet another country in ham-fisted style, thus further straining their ties with the rest of the world.

Northern Ireland in Flames: Riots Erupt Over Immigration, Housing & Criminality

We all love to cry racism when there is opposition to immigration, but the reality is that rising criminality and strains on housing & infrastructure are leading to a backlash against what has essentially become a human-trafficking racket. Like all human-traffickers, politicians are only concerned with volume and throughput, as they run their Ponzi scheme. In this, the Brits and Canadians have a lot in common, and that's why we flock to them as former imperial subjects, because this same practice lubricated and facilitated that imperialism of the past.

Northern Ireland is Britain's most sensitive area, for reasons of history and ethnicity -- and that's precisely the reason why they're trying to ethnically and demographically alter the place, in order to keep it in place.
Given that Britain is a western spearhead in aggressively pursuing war against Russia via Ukraine (they've been accused of participating in the drone attack on Russian airbases), one would think they'd know better than to throw stones from their glass house.

Israel's Strike on Iran Apparently Used Same Method as Ukraine Drone Strike On Russia

Word coming out is that a Ukraine-style attack was carried out against Iranian targets.

Meaning that drones were infiltrated into Iran over a period of many months, to later be activated at the desired moment, to blow up the targets.
This was the same method recently used against Russian airbases to give Russia its 'Pearl Harbor'
It sounds plausible, given what Israel did with the pagers against Hezbollah.

The approach taken is starting to look like Israel's Mossad and Ukraine's SBU had jointly collaborated under the tutelage of the CIA, to carry out both the attacks against Russia and Iran
Furthermore, the Ukrainian drone strike on Russia may have been a trial run for the Israeli drone strike on Iran.

This is crazy. It could also mean the opening shots have been fired for the start of WW3.
Also, why wouldn't China help Pak to do a drone strike against us, using Pak for its own trial run?

Hindu Communities in Canada Unite to Combat Hate Speech and Violence, Demand Legal Action

Legal action is the best way. NRIs and Indian communities overseas need to stand up for their rights or else see these trampled upon. The best way to do this is through litigation, in turning to the legal machinery made for this purpose and availing themselves of it. Protests and petitions can be dismissed and ignored, but legal action cannot be.

Musk & Trump Having Massive Spat / Breakdown in Relations

This kind of headstrong behaviour is why I'd be leery of making someone like Yogi into Modi's successor. That's why you need someone sober and mature, to provide stable leadership for the country to develop under.

Harmeet Dhillon, the Trump appointee in the US Justice Dept put in charge of civil rights, is using her position to go after Hindus, presenting them as extremists while presenting her fellow Khalistanis as victims. As a Khalistani herself, she does not have the objectivity to be making these determinations:

Shantanu meets Ganga | Mahabharata By Short Sparks | Episode 2

Russia Suffers Pearl Harbour Style Attack from Massive Ukrainian Drone Strike

The latest Ukrainian FPV drone strike on Russian airbases has shown footage of massive damage inflicted on Russian aircraft including Tu-95 strategic bombers. The obvious success of this attack means it would be noted for possible imitation by others.

We should worry about something like this being done to us, whether by China or by Pak. If any country is vulnerable to such an attack like this, it would be us more than anyone. This is especially true given the number of major terror attacks we've suffered across the years and decades. Once again, the rules of warfare are being re-written, and we need to be sitting up and paying attention. And it's not only our military facilities which could be attacked in this way, it could even be our dams and other vital infrastructure.

Although, to be frank, I think Baloch Liberation Army or TTP should try this out on Pakistan military. The best defense is a good offense.

We've all heard about these little pinprick attacks against Indian military bases, or cross-border drops detected by BSF, etc.

But the ambition, scale and scope of this latest strike from Ukraine shows tremendous operational planning. Again, it shows the possibility of a 'Drone Pearl Harbour'.

Here's more analysis of this Ukrainian operation:

And remember this strike was aimed at Russia's nuclear triad, and has has significantly affected it.

I would compare it to a Pahalgam style strategy -- ie. a strike that was designed to force a major response from the other side. Right now, the Russians are hold emergency cabinet meetings to decide what kind of Sindoor they'll have to carry out in response. Such an inevitable counter-strike will in turn impact peace talks (which obviously certain hidden people don't want to see take hold.) So this looks to have been orchestrated as part of a carefully laid out plan.
