Nice piece. I am also reminded about the Physicist Lawrence Krauss who recently got into trouble with the philosophy cartel for boldly stating (and I am paraphrasing) that all their philosophical musings weren't worth a bucket of warm spit. He had to then make some soothing declarations, like Galileo before him, in order to avoid upsetting the academic/social milieu that he moved in, but he was being bluntly correct the worthlessness of Western philosophical thought as Sokol was about the useless nature of much that passes for the academic social "sciences" today. And the desi versions like the Wharton trio are even worse because they are entirely derivative, unoriginal, and half-baked mimics of something that already is crap - novel at one time, perhaps, but still essentially unmitigated crap.
However, there is also fear among these leftist parasites that their game is up and that their bluff will be called. As more desis become educated and knowledgeable in the real sciences, these flim-flam artists will be less able to manipulate the media and the affect how Hindus get depicted.
