I'm actually in favour of Turkey going back into the hands of the Islamists. After all, the hight and mighty Europeans have been getting a free vacation from Islamic holy war, by having Turkey in the hands of the Ataturkist military. If Turkey goes back to fundamentalist Islam and even revives the Caliphate, I'd be pretty happy. After all, we don't have any border with Turkey, so we wouldn't be adversely affected. But the Europeans would be heavily affected. This would force them to change their pro-Islamist stance, as they receive their rude awakening. So I'm fully in favour of seeing Islamic problems being exported/spread to others, so that they can face the same troubles we do, rather than mocking us from afar and from safety.
