Dear all, 2 pieces from Bharat karnad, one on the nuclear deal and the other on national intent. what is left unsaid but what permeates his column is that to have national intent, one must be fired by nationalism NOT the commonplace football cheering patriotism; and to be fired by nationalism one must have a sense of nation and understanding of the basis of nationhood. RR
