Mushy was a cunning schemer alright and a dangerous adversary. His successors in Pakistan will be much worse in terms of nourishing Jihadi forces because they also have this need of playing to their gallery - namely the Pakistani people, who are intrinsically hostile to India and Hindus, in particular.
Alas, this rogue Paki general carried himself with a certain dignity that is sadly
lacking in India's present "Head of State" (sic) and "Head of Government" (sic) whose duties in "office" are eclipsed even by Musharraf's current imagined occupation.

Very true.
In his recent speech mentioned the name of Allah more than once without squirming or curling himself into an apologetc wimp.
Does today's india have any such ruler who would take Ram or Krishna's Name with conviction & pride openly? Instead of temporary ingratiating overtures to ensnare Hindus' votes.
