Support to Hindu Aikya Vedi
Dear Hindu Sisters & Brothers,
As you all know the Hindu community in Kerala is facing a grave threat from all sides. They are being cornered in all walks of life and the future is going to be bleak if we don't awake to the reality.
Hindu students are going to be adversely affected with the new steps taken by the government and higher education is going to be monopolised by the rich minorities. What it means for the coming generations is known to all.
With the new Ordinance brought forward by the Kerala state government the autonomy of the Devaswom Board is going to be compromised. Secular, which also means non - Hindu, officers shall be in charge of the temples with the new Bill. Appointments made by the Public Service Commission.
The meager money given to the temples by the cornered Hindus shall be under the control of others. Centralisation of temple control in the secular government is to be here soon.
There are attacks on Hindus at many places and in this I remind you about the eight Hindu brothers killed by Muslim fanatics at Maradu, which was a planned conspiracy when the Muslim League was in power in Kerala. The demand for a CBI enquiry has been rejected and that will save the people behind this heinous crime.
This is just a case from the many where the culprits have not been booked where heinous crimes are done on Hindus. Where the minority is involved the government is swift in its action as we all know. That when the legitimate Hindu demands are swept away branding it as communalism.
Hindu Aikya Vedi is planning to start a major mass movement through out the state and the initial meetings are going on. We are also planning to move the High Court where simple justice is denied to the Hindu cmmunity. As you know all these need your support.
We are trying to raise a fund for the purpose and I request you all to contribute whatever best possible. Please write in what you feel are the steps necessary.
With Prayers
Kummanam Rajasekharan

What do you say when so-called "thinkers" and "social activists" tar an entire state this way, especially a state that happens to be on the top of most development indices in india?
It's titled "There is no civil society in Gujarat

Is this organisation big enough to handle the problems of Kerala Hindus? Is this organization working together with other organisations outside? Does this organisation have support of any political party? (Lawmaking is in the hands of political parties). Is there an apex Hindu body that is handling these activities? Is there going to be one if there isn't one? What is the gurantee this is not another body floated by communists? What is the gurantee money donated to this body will not go to political parties that are against the interests of Hindus, just like the money offered in temples is looted by government/politicians?
Kapi, you can do that for all of us. Will be glad to hear more from you if you care to right to the address you mention. I was under the impression good organisations have a decent internet presence. The snailmail address and the Post boxes aren't really in keeping with all the big technology stuff you discuss on here, are they? (Help the organisation put all these answers under a FAQ, will you please?)
Sadly, you expect an individual to do things that organisations should be doing. The real problem of Hindus is not Christains or Muslims. The real problem of Hindus is the lack of proper organisational support!
Your profanities don't impress me. I hope Rajeeve deletes your comments because I believe they fall in the category of comments that he announced he would be deleting.
Here is his statement for your benefit "i am tolerating a certain amount of animosity in the comments section, but i shall soon be forced start deleting posts unless the discourse becomes more civil and less ad hominem.
