Mamata bans all English dailies in state libraries
One hopes that the BJP has the balls to emulate this in the states ruled by them. 'India Shining' turned out to be a windfall for the ELM but a major flop for the party.

She's not just banning english-language dailies, she's banning large Bengali ones too. While these large Bengali ones may be in the hip-pockets of her political rivals, she may also be trying to keep only the ones that are sympathetic to herself.
The irony is that Indlish remains the national language for communication. If people are truly bothered by the rampant bias of the Radiamedia, they should boycott these propaganda instruments and tune in to one that reflects their ethos. The BJP could have supported an anti-Radiamedia news corporation when they had the power, but like always, they dropped the ball. The Radiamedia get their revenues from these state contracts, and so this is a good first step.
