Indian-American kid Nithin Reddy Tumma, 17, of Fort
Gratiot, Michigan., won the prestigious Intel Science Talent Search
contest for 2012. Tumma takes home $100,000 from the Intel Foundation.
Nithin's research could eventually lead to more fine-tuned therapies in cancer treatment.
Having already been accepted to MIT, Cal Tech and Stanford, Tumma plans to use some of his winnings toward a college education.
