And one of Rajeev's favorites, the Battle of Thermopylae finally gets re-enacted as a movie blockbuster in '300' which is based on Frank Miller's graphic novel of the same name. Lots of bluescreen special fx in this one. This is of course a retelling of the famous battle in which 300 Greek Spartan soldiers fought off an attack by the numerically far superior forces of the Persians.
Heh, a little coincidentally timed on the eve of looming military action against Iran, eh?
At least check out the preview trailer -- it's quite over the top.

I've been looking forward to watching this movie ever since you first posted link to its preview. I made many friends see that too and now I have group of 5 friends ready to see it this weekend. Hope I am not disappointed.
