Steve Bannon is being vilified by Left-wing media as the evil Rasputin-like figure who acts like a power behind the throne. Whereas Amit Shah is derided as Modi's henchman, Bannon is portrayed as the puppetmaster who pulls Trump's strings - ie. the real power in the Whitehouse. The caricatures are being piled on.
