China has been building up its oil pipeline links to Russia and Central Asian suppliers. Of a lesser order of concern is how China will protect its mining investments in Afghanistan after the US withdraws. I suppose they'll get guarantees from Pak.
I don't know how Jon Stewart gets to interview all these leading people, when he's just a politicized Leno or Letterman. As you may remember, Musharraf used Stewart's show as a platform to parade himself on American TV. Now Stewart without batting an eyelid schmoozes with Malala, like someone who runs with the hares and hunts with the hounds. The man is such a hypocrite, it's ridiculous.
Can you please embed videos such that they don't start playing every time the page is loaded? It is very annoying to listen to Jon - I just can't bear him and his delivery even when he is talking completely humorous.
