SABHA - 4M Report Arvind Kumar, 25 Sep 2008

Your regular dose of pseudosecularism

  1. Information on Pakistan's suicide bomb was posted on SABHA

The suicide bombing in which a truck packed with explosives killed dozens of people and wounded hundreds at Islamabad's Marriott Hotel could have been avoided if the intelligence agencies had paid careful attention to 4M Report.

In our last edition, we mentioned an email doing the rounds stating that a call center for a suicide hotline in Pakistan was hiring people to either pilot a plane or drive trucks. We once again reproduce the information in the email below.

I was feeling a little suicidal the other day and decided to phone the suicide hotline. A Pakistani man answered the phone. I told him I was feeling suicidal. He got all excited and asked me if I could drive a truck or fly a plane.

We believe they managed to recruit a truck driver. Sadly, there is now a vacancy since one of their truck drivers was killed.

  2. Islamic Rage boy is back again!

A lot of people have been unhappy at the recent events in Kashmir. In the language of the Indian media, the government decided to provide transit facilities for "members of a particular community" who were on their way to "a place of worship." "Members of another community" got outraged, threw rocks, burned tires, smashed glass and wanted to wage jihad. The Muslims then furiously marched all over the place, but there was no one left to kill.

We were of course thrilled by all this. This meant another sighting of Islamic Rage Boy!

Sure enough, Rage Boy did not disappoint us! Here he is, this time as a member of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference.

Snappedshot.com has a post titled 'Ragie or no Ragie' where you can see Rage Boy wearing an innovative mask. However, his teeth were a dead giveaway.

  3. And the gold medal in synchronized cheating goes to . . .

Speaking of teeth, China first pulled a fast one by having a 9-year old girl mime a song during the opening ceremony of the Olympic games because the real singer had wonky teeth and the Spiritual Civilization Steering Committee or whatever it is called declared that the little girl was too ugly to be seen by the world.

Then the underage gymnasts were caught. And how? Their "itty-bitty teeth" gave them away. One of them was even missing her baby tooth.

Now, filmmaker Zhang Yimou says that masterminding the Olympics was a bigger task than any movies he has directed. Must have been real tough with Steven Spielberg walking out without completing the fake footage of the fireworks used during the opening ceremony. Meanwhile, Blogdai has come out with an expose that the footage of the torch run to the summit of Everest was faked as well.

During the games, there were fake spectators and cheerleaders. They were assigned their tasks by the party bosses at the labor camps.

And finally, there was also fake breeze generated by cheap Chinese fans so that the flags could flutter. These were real fans, not the fake fans mentioned above!

  4. Somebody has got to win the silver medal

Some country has to win the silver medal in synchronized cheating.

Remember Peter Popham of UK's Independent who fabricated a story (details) on Godhra? He was accompanied by the British High Commissioner who invented the figure of 2000 Muslims killed in the riots.

Now it turns out that the BBC used a fake photograph of a riot scene. The photograph has a picture of a man raising a sword, but his picture has clearly been pasted onto the scene. Click here to see the picture and the details of the fakery.

  5. "Peace activists" object to peace

Indian "peace activists" launched a vociferous campaign to protest a statement of peace between Catholics and Hindus in the city of Mangalore after the two communities agreed to live in harmony with each other. The business model of the activists depends on strife between the two groups followed by appeal for money from churches in the West.
  6. Delhi encounter fake says Hindustan Times

Hindustan Times now has come up with the conspiracy theory that the Delhi encounter in which a police inspector died was faked and there were no bullets in his body. Apparently, he just fell off and died so that Islam could be defamed. Like in Godhra, when the train spontaneously caught fire so that Islam could be defamed. And like in New York, where the 9/11 attacks were carried out by Jews.

Bitter residents of the Islamic area where the terrorists were killed have stated that they could have helped out if the cops had taken them into confidence. Duly noted. Next time your relatives hole up in your homes, we'll let you know.

Look at this article in CNN-IBN

http://www.ibnlive.com/news/nanavati-report-loophole-blaze-theory-under-cloud/74826-3.html

The best part is the reply to this article which is as follows

"Injury reports of 70 survivors of the coach S6 fire show that most burn injuries were above the waist" is an important point in the news report. But, its next question, “So could the injuries have happened above the waist if 140 liters of petrol were poured on the floor of the coach?”
and concluding it as a loophole is premature and unjustified. It may be noted that in case of highly inflammable substances, the heat impact tend to be at a higher level than the base point due to quick vaporization process. we can tolerate burning camphor on our palm relatively longer compared to testing it over the flame. If the heat generated in a closed area is high, there is possibility that burning petrol tend to burn well above the surface on account of quick vaporization. When such a situation is further subjected to human movements and commotion, the petrol vapors may not get high burning chance at the surface level and will begin to burn at points where it gets maximum air supply to do its job. What are these points inside a coach? Therefore, the nature of burn injuries sustained by the victims cannot be a definitive indicator of use or no use of petrol. It is better to create a near situation according to eye witness descriptions and measure the burn effects on dummy objects that stimulate near human movements that occur in a fear and commotion filled atmosphere. Till such a thing is done, reports like this are not only unwarranted but also misleading.

And the Chinese authorities knew the tainted milk scam (Melamine added to the thinned milk) which led to some deaths and many children falling sick and diary products being recalled but did not act on it because it would tarnish their image during the olympics.

Sudhir,
Similar to jaykuppur's comment in ibnlive that you have quoted, is the fact that circus "fire-eaters" blow out petrol from their mouths and set fire to it to make it appear that they are breathing fire. The flame is at a distance from their faces.
Justice Nanavati’s findings are based on factual evidence. The howling of the detractors is just howling, Irrespective of the high societal standing of a few of the detractors, they can't make facts go away by howling. In this instance, what has disappeared is the respectability of the howlers.
