is that sound of the obama campaign self-destructing? guy's having a bit of a hard time having the cake and eating it too, i suppose.

the guy has always struck me as a major fake and a hoax. perfect christist, in that sense. now it's delightful to see him try to wriggle out of all the contradictions here. clinton (bill) said famously, "i didn't inhale". now obama is saying, "i didn't hear any of the bad things wright said, i was just overwhelmed by his spirituality." yeah, right.
un-electable, that's what obama is now seeing. no bloody bubba is going to vote for him, and increasingly large numbers of regular white folks aren't going to, either.
bye, bye, obama, maybe? and perhaps hello, mccain?

This Reverend Wright is quite a character. Kinda reminds me of frothing "Dalit activists." He's thoroughly anti-semitic and steeped in racist rhetoric. He probably screwed Obama for good, not for primaries but definitely for general election.
When he defended Louis Farrakhan and "Zionism is Racism" resolution that must have opened the eyes of quite a few of his Jewish supporters. To top it he justified 9-11 and spouted some AIDS conspiracy which must have rattled white voters. You really have to stretch your credulity to believe that Obama never heard this drivel in the span of 20 yrs. and yet so glowingly described the nutcase in his autobiography.
Obama might still get the nomination, because the superdelegates cannot really go against so many "netroots" invested in the Obama campaign.
And if Obama gets the nomination it's Hello McCain for sure.
