this is what at least a section of the bay area population thinks about indians.
and this is one of the most cosmopolitan parts of the US.
of course some of the comment writers are chinese. the semi-literacy shines through. others are mohammedans (pakistanis?) masquerading. the jihad shines through.
but what this implies overall is that it may be time to start investing in an apartment in pune or mysore or coimbatore. so that there is a Plan B.
the recession is beginning to hurt, and they need scapegoats.

No surprises there. These attitudes are to be expected from the trailer trash. However, the anti-Indian sentiment is more preponderant among the bottom rungs of society. 20 million illegal Latino immigrants threatening to overwhelm the USA and convert it into a banana republic is fine. The flight of millions of manufacturing jobs to China is ok. Even Islamic aggression on American soil is ok. But, a few thousand successful Indians, Hindus at that are a thorn in the sides of the trailer trash, not to be tolerated at any cost. And what the bloody hell is wrong with them, equating Hindus with the @###ing Latinos. There are admittedly a few thousand Indians among the illegal immigrants, mostly employed in grocery stores and restaurants, but there is simply no comparison with the 20 million (and growing) Latino illegals. And, check this out, the morons asked a Toilet cleaner for his opinion, and he lost no time spewing crap, literally at the brown Hindoos, who for some unfathomable reason (to this idiot) are NOT janitors like himself:

When I was in Belgium several years ago on business, I went to a museum and there were a bunch of jap tourists who were snapping photos and chattering and walking around the museum. There were lots of Indians and white Americans at the museum as well. The japs wanted to get through all the exhibits quickly and they wanted to see everything. Anyway, any time there were Indians in front of them watching the exhibits, the japs would just shove them out of the way like they were stray dogs. BUT, when there were white people in front of them, THEY SMILED AND WERE SO POLITE, AND THEY WOULD SAY, "EXCUSE ME". They gingerly and politely walked around the white people.
Why?
Indians have never done anything to japs. White Americans vaporized TWO MILLION japs in WW2, so you would think that japs would treat Indians with more respect, right?
All humans and animals respect strength and power. It doesn't matter that 2 million japs were vaporized by white people. Japs will still defer to white people over Indians any day.
karyakarta92 is 100% correct. We should not be surprised. There are things you should definitely notice though:
1. Whites are FAR more racially conscious than Indians will ever be. While we say stupid things like, "the universe is one big family", white people do not fall for this naive BS. Even the most mentally dimmest of whites believe in white domination.
2. Indians have a "slave" gene. I have borne witness to this behavior so many times. Especially in India. Indians in the US/UK/Canada have a little modicum of self-respect, but Indians in India behave as if goras came out of the sky on gold chariots like Lord Indra. I have seen with my own eyes Indian-American executives at hotels who do NOT get served until the white tourists are served. Even if they are first in line. Where did they learn such slavish behavior?
3. As I have said before---you will NEVER see an ugly Indian guy with a hot gori girl, but you will almost 100% of the time see an ugly gora guy with the hottest Indian girl. Why? Because Indians have created that existence for themselves. I have seen Indian women from India behave this way, and I have seen some girls in the US and UK do this. It's sad and pathetic.
4. Would an uneducated Hindu woman who married into the Bush family ever rise to the same heights as sonia maino has in India? What kind of people allow such things to happen?
I do not get bothered by statements and opinions of whites. I expect this. I actually respect whites for being this way. They SHOULD be racially conscious. It would be weird if they were not.
Now why are we NOT like them?
nizhal makes a very good point---I think ALL Indian people should hedge their bets and establish some concrete linkages in India. This could be in the form of a home and also an investment in terms of a business. All of my friends are doing this. We have all purchased nice homes in India, we all have some sort of connection there as well. I think this is very important.
You never know how things will shake out in the Western World. History has shown that whenever whites are threatened, they intelligently forget about their differences, unite, and drive out the "others" or kill them off.
Let's walk through history...

1. Moors of Spain were killed or asked to leave. Spain was at war with England, but England HELPED Spain kick the Moors out.
2. All of the whites who hated each other---killed each other in the Civil war but UNITED to wipe out the Plains Indians. According to Adolf Hitler, this was the most effective annihilation in world history.
3. Jews were dominating he economy of Germany. So, Germany wiped out millions of Jews.

Right now, whites are 70% of the population of the US. Based on history, do you really think that they will stand for "the others" making economic or social progress?
It only takes a few incidents and some inaction by law enforcement to send a message to "the others"---that's us.

Well, yes, I agree with Shivaji's Blog that in India itself we see this discrimination, esp. in tourist places where goras are literally worshipped and desis ignored, I was unfortunate to see this in a Hindu temple... when I was a kid in Madurai Meenaskhi Temple, the priest (one of many) was behind white people, explaining etc and ignoring the desi bhakts/tourists.
Also, I think this occurs more in tourism/hospitality related areas like hotels. I saw this first hand recently in Singapore. The Chinese over there they have that imaginary 'superior' feeling in themselves, and aome sort of I dont know whether to call it this way... 'hate' towards Indians (Ofcourse we can see it clearly in Malaysia how Indians are treated) and the way they fall for goras...
Along with power, I think its mostly the dollars which come to work here.. they know the whites can be fooled to give up their dollars whereas the Indians will think twice before being swindled.
I agree we need to come out of this gora 'superiority' or 'awe'.
