thanks, san, for the story on the new technology for solar. sounds fabulous: 80% efficiency, and works at night!
now here's another on the business side of it picking up because of subsidies to cover the capital cost. of course, volume will bring down production costs. btw, the company we talked about here, first solar, has had a bit of a roller-coaster ride, but it has nevertheless gone up by a factor of 4x.
solar sounds like the perfect solution: no global warming, no side-effects, no cost of inputs. i hope there is no catch, as this sounds awfully like a free lunch.
solar ki jai! the sooner we're out of the clutches of the arab hydrocarbon mongers the better.
