India Chooses European Warplanes Over American
India has finally chosen European warplanes over American ones, in its decision on one of the largest defense contracts in its history.

Naturally, we are buying planes for our protection and defence and not for american industry.
One should see the comments from 'India experts' and Just-resigned US Ambassador as if they are doing a favour by selling their technology (inferior and obsolete - in their terms) and with too many strings attached and problems with spare parts and support.
Atleast I'm happy our people showed some spine.
Dont understand all the hullabaloo about India choosing European supplier? All these paid agents are making noise now - recall how India was denied spare parts to ISRO cryogenic engine? Why should India pawn its interest to US when it knows it can impose sanctions and bring India to its knees? Personally I think it is a great decision -shows India has spine; Only hoping no scandal breaks out....
