i have always been a fan of hitchens, and to some extent of dawkins. this makes me like them even more
this is the perfect thing to do -- the fellow is guilty of coverups in criminal offenses.
what cedric "2000 mohammedans" prakash did to modi is now being done to cedric's big boss himself. maybe there is justice in the world, after all!
imagine, papa ratzy aka paparazzi a wanted criminal with an international arrest warrant on his head! ROTFL. what will he do now?
actually, i think ratzy has become such a major embarrassment for the church -- fabulous propaganda disaster -- there's a good chance the vatican will bump ratzy off so that he becomes the fall guy. that would give them a 'martyr' -- and that's one of the church's major marketing points -- and the fellow will be prevented from singing like a canary under investigation and revealing more damaging stuff. furthermore, as rajiv gandhi found, there might be an outpouring of (undeserved) sympathy for the next fellow. and they can screech: "see, see, all these questions affected ratzy so much he had a heart attack" thus playing the victim. so instead of firing the CEO, they achieve multiple objectives by quietly slipping some kind of a pill into ratzy's soup.
you heard it here first, although i am sure dan "da vinci code" brown is thinking along those lines already.

it would not surprise me if this bumping off happens to ratzy
NS Rajaram in his book (on the dead sea scrolls) makes a case that the pope before the polish john paul II was most likely murdered. this was done - because he was on the way to modernising the christist church and moving away from dogma (on for e.g. the use of contraceptives). he was in the papacy only for 33 days, frequently referred to the lord as 'mother' (a throwback to the pagan days) and had no reported health problems - strange how a 'heart attack' happens so suddenly.
in other words - he was too much of a reformist for the church of child buggery
