The Ballad of Amar Jindal

Well, I don't always take myself too seriously. So you'll have to bear it.

With apologies to CBS's Beverly Hillbillies:

The Coconut Hillbillies

Come and listen to muh story,
About a man named Jindal,
Poor engineer,
Only saw his prospects dwindle,

Then one day,
He discovered something huge,
When he found himself a job,
In a place called Baton Rouge...

...US, that is...
land of gold, 'cross the sea...

Well, the first thing yuh know,
Like in SlumDog Millionaire,
Kinfolk said, "let's move away from there!"

Said Louijiana was the place they oughtta be,
So they filled out all the forms,
And got an H1-B...

... Visa, that is...
Endless queues, dismissal blues...

----------------

Okay, there was no H1-B back then, but I'm entitled to artistic license, for satirical purposes.
Anyway, not bad for 10 min worth of meditation.

Maybe it can be played on the radio during Republican National Convention week in 2012 ;P

See article in New York
times, "Three Blind Mice":
Bobby Jindal, Michael Steele and Rush Limbaugh — the axis of drivel
"...Let’s start with Jindal, who delivered his now-infamous, numbingly rote response to Obama’s national address in a kindergarten cadence. He fumbled his facts and sealed his fate. He then scurried off to Disney World to lick his wounds in a place where they appreciate a character and a fairy tale. Goofy. ...[etc]"
