Will the US Collapse Like USSR?
Dmitry Orlov, an American professor of Russian origin, talks about the coming collapse of the United States, comparing it to the collapse of its superpower counterpart, the USSR. He's got a sense of humour about it, anyway.

this guy is not the only one saying it - S Gurumurthy and his SJM has been saying roughly the same thing i.e. a system based on domination is ecologically, economically and sociologically unsustainable.
it is a scary scenario this orlov predicts. if it happens we are all toast - the hans most of all. they have completely raped their agriculture with mega-polluting industries. india may be better off though. we have still have a lot of good agricultural land and consumption is mostly local with short food chains
