Nice frank article in WorldTribune about LTTE and its imminent demise, as well as its past as innovator among terrorist groups. They like to think of themselves as the Apple to the Islamists' Microsoft.
Hi, Im an Indian, no qstn abt it.. but im also a Tamilian.. when ppl can relate to sufferings of ppl in faraway land just bcs they share the common faith/religion... y is it not accepted when a tamilian does it.. that too in a place which is close to their place...im in no way trying to justify the terrorists tactics of LTTE but there is no1 to voice for the suppressed tamils in srilanka...pls dont compare wats happng in kashmir with sl n even palstn with sl...will d intellctuals who roar on ltte's demise will help in bringng equality amng ppl of sl.. no1 really bothers... wen d whole arab world..n even western nations and pseudo-secular congress is vouching for palestine i dont c any1 barely raising any meaningful voices abt the tamils in sl...let sl defeat ltte.. so be it.. no place of hardline in d modern world.. but who is nw gonna oversee d rehabilitation... s i knw.. no1 wants to... bcs the whole world is busy with other impnt agenda...sorry.. i started with something and it went somewhere.. just shocked to c one of my favorte blogs supporting this article... take care all.. Look, I empathize with the desire of Sri Lankan Tamils to make sure they have rights, but this whole suicide-bombing, gun-culture, international crime syndicate thing is way too much of a perversion of any freedom struggle to deserve support. The LTTE attacked the Indian Army for goodness' sakes. That's completely unacceptable. No Bangladeshi Hindu or Pakistani Hindu has ever raised a hand against Indian Army, and they've had to go through a lot of suffering and death on their side, too. No Kashmiri Pandit has ever raised a hand against Indian Army. It's simply not acceptable. Prabhakaran is a fanatic responsible for killing huge numbers of Tamils himself, not to mention his cruel practice of child-soldier recruitment. Despite his having sent so many to their deaths, we all know he would never sacrifice his own life for the cause.
