Holbrooke Named Envoy to Pak/Afghanistan

The Obama admin has named Richard Holbrooke special envoy to Pakistan and Afghanistan. I'm relieved that his role was not extended to cover all of SouthAsia (including India and notably Kashmir.) But we should be wary against such a possible extension occurring in the future, to drag us -- specifically Kashmir -- into Pak's mess.
