Ethnic voters have dealt a severe blow to the ruling Malaysian govt. Clearly, ethnic Indians have had a major role to play in this, along with ethnic Chinese. In the true Islamic style, Malaysians have always had discriminatory hiring quotas -- in favour of their own ethnic majority. But clearly other ethnic groups feel that oppressive double-standard needs to end.
