Communal NGOs don't want police to do their work

This CNN-IBN report notes that "Muslim NGOs" are upset about the police doing their jobs. Since they are "muslim", which is a community, i guess calling these Communal NGOs is appropriate.

The NGOs claim that in light of the recent arrests of suspected terrorists in the state, the police have targeted many innocent Muslim youths.

“We are here to register our protest and strong resentment on the fact that some police officers are going about the campaign against terror which resembles terror itself. Muslim youths are being picked up randomly and innocent youths are being interrogated and the incident that happened on Friday was just on the basis of telephone numbers intercepted.
So if they're innocent, they need not be worried about anything, right? And if they are really innocent they should be making a statement such as "We're condemning terrorists and will give all the information required to bring these ghouls to book."

Or are they actually saying: "We're making bombs, so leave us alone."?
