Meanwhile - I was very disturbed to read this peice by Swapan Dasgupta in the Pioneer. Sadly Swapan got it wrong this time - I agree with the headline of his article. Within the text though is implied that the Pope has in am implicit manner come down against the American Evangelical world-view and the violent history of the Christian Church - of course the Pope has done neither. Sorry Swapan, you are wrong on this one pal!
