is this 'black fever' kala azar? if so, this is one useful white person. most drug firms refuse to do drugs for tropical diseases because there's more money in drugs for diseases of the affluent such as cancer and heart disease and depression.

Agree with Shahryar that we can exploit patent-expired formulas for cheap drugs for our people.
On the other hand we should fund bio-research to come up with our own patents and then economically exploit the west based on the "Pharma Shark" model.
I am sure if we dig into our treasure chest of Ayurvedic information we can find some formulas for the usual concerns of the big spending Americans - natural weight-management, skin care etc. People here never get tired of buying such inanities. Ayurveda would be anyday safer than botox or liposuction!
