i had read an article about this report some time ago, which talked about how, just like in france's banlieus full of algerian mohammedans, the australian police are afraid to go into lebanese areas (similar to the mini-pakistans in india) where the criminal lebanese gangs hold sway. (good meta-question as to why places where the RoP prevails are always so full of peas).
they remind me of the barbary pirates from libya etc. that used to attack shipping in the 18th century, carrying off white women for sexual slavery and white men for ransom, in addition to the loot from the ships themselves. the fledgling navy had to fight pitched battles with them to kill them off.
the convicts -- too relaxed with their barbies and their leisure -- don't have the stomach to go on the warpath against these new arab pirates. so they're pretending the attacks on indians aren't happening. darn good strategy, boys (and especially girls): they should make the ostrich australia's national bird.
