One good thing is that Prof Henry C K Liu (of atimes.com) has rejected the idea. He seem to be a sensible economist and Chinese government seem to be following his advise of divesting out of dollars.
Naturally, China hopes to be the great superpower. But, simple economics teaches that no country becomes economically strong when its trading partners (e.g. US) is in ruins.
It is time to watch the MA(economic)D between US and China.
