maraad massacre: 62 given life imprisonment, nobody to be executed

jan 16th, 2009

but apparently the 'prosecution failed to prove a conspiracy'.

that's most interesting, considering:

a) all mohammedans in the area vanished a day or two before the massacre
b) mohammedan females in burqas rioted and tried to prevent the police from entering the mosque, where they found blood-stained swords
c) it has been widely rumored in the grapevine that at least two ministers -- and i cannot name names without inviting libel accusations -- were fully conversant with the action and shielded the perpetrators by obstructing police investigation
d) it is widely believed that some dubai-based kerala mohammedans paid for the whole thing

isn't it also interesting that the maraad massacre foreshadowed the mumbai attack -- terrorists arriving by sea?

so no mohammedan will be executed, and of course they will all be let off in some amnesty down the road by the reds. ambushing and massacring hindus is clearly not a capital offense in india.

in case you don't remember this case, a bunch of mohammedans landed by boat at maraad near calicut, ambushed a bunch of unarmed hindu fishermen sitting on the beach, and killed 8 of them with swords.

Though it is a partial victory there is still time to go to appeals in the higher courts and we from past cases know there has been reversals of lower court verdicts to the extent of reducing the decree of the order by the lower court. It is for time to prove whether this would be anything different.
